Day 1: CUSCO – SOCMA – RAYAN
Our journey begins with a prompt 5:30 am pick-up by our company representative at your Cusco hotel. A comfortable 1-hour and 20-minute drive to the starting point of the Inca Quarry Trail unveils the picturesque Anta valleys’ agricultural landscapes. Upon arrival, an impeccably prepared breakfast by our skilled adventure chef ensures a secure and comfortable initiation of your Machu Picchu adventure.
The trek commences at 8 am from the Socma community, covering 6 km towards the Rayan community. Along the way, immerse yourself in tourist attractions such as the Socma Valley, the majestic Perolniyoc Waterfall, and the ancient ruins of Perolpata. The trail gracefully undulates from descents to ascents, offering a unique panoramic view of the nearby mountains and the valleys of Cusco.

Day 2: RAYAN- SUMMIT CHARCAHUAYLLA – INTI PUNKU- CHOQUETACARPHU
Following a nourishing breakfast, a challenging ascent awaits to reach the Paso de Charcahuaylla at 4,200 meters above sea level. This 4-hour ascent unveils a unique panorama featuring the sacred Veronica Mountain. A visit to Inti Punku, a site of ancient Peruvian rituals and sacrifices, precedes the descent towards the Choquetacarphu campsite.

Day 3: CHOQUETACARPHU- COMMUNITY OF CACHICCATA
A leisurely breakfast precedes a 3-hour downhill trek, concluding our walking expedition. This day presents a unique opportunity to engage with the culture of the Cachiccata community. Learn and partake in the preparation of traditional Peruvian cuisine under the guidance of our chef, featuring the iconic «pachamanca.»

Day 4: COMMUNITY OF CACHICCATA- KM 104- MACHU PICCHU RUINS
Commencing with a boxed breakfast for the early train, departure at 6:10 am from the train station initiates a 1-hour and 20-minute train ride to the starting point at Km 104. Covering a distance of 12 km, the trail meanders through archaeological wonders, including the Puerta del Sol, leading to the Sun Temple in Machu Picchu.
The Two-Day Inca Trail offers the unique privilege of admiring Machu Picchu twice—firstly in the evening upon completing the trek and subsequently in the morning for a guided tour.
Day 5: MACHU PICCHU- OLLANTAYTAMBO- CUSCO
A delectable breakfast at the hotel precedes a 30-minute bus journey to the entrance of the Machu Picchu ruins. Presentation of your travel passport, along with the guide’s company documents, grants access to the exploration of the Incan city. The guided tour, spanning 2 to 3 hours, focuses on sacred locations, Incan temples, and palaces. Following the exploration, return to Aguas Calientes for lunch before boarding the train to Ollantaytambo and subsequently to Cusco.
